Ono Hawaiian BBQ Continues Commitment to Supporting the Hawaiian Community with Another Fundraising Initiative

Participating Restaurant Locations Will Be Donating 50% Of All Online Sales on Sunday, August 20 to the Council of Native Hawaiian Advancement: Kako’o Maui Fund to Aid Wildfire Recovery

Los Angeles, CA  (RestaurantNews.com)  Ono Hawaiian BBQ has announced its upcoming philanthropic endeavor to support the Council of Native Hawaiian Advancement in the wake of the recent devastating Maui wildfires.

This Sunday, August 20th, Ono Hawaiian BBQ will be donating 50% of all online sales directly to The Kako’o Maui Fund. Through this initiative, the restaurant chain aims to rally its community to contribute to the long recovery road ahead for Maui locals. This announcement follows Ono Hawaiian BBQ’s previous fundraiser on August 11, where the company raised $60,000 in donations for the Hawaiian Community Foundation.

“At Ono Hawaiian BBQ, we believe in supporting our family and giving back to communities in their time of need,” says Joshua Liang, Ono Hawaiian BBQ’s CEO. “In the spirit of ‘ohana, raising funds for the CNHA exemplifies our commitment to positively impacting the lives of Hawaiians.”

To participate, customers can place online orders on August 20th through the Ono Hawaiian BBQ website at https://order.onohawaiianbbq.com or in the Ono app. Ono Hawaiian BBQ will be donating up to $100,000. This offer is not applicable to third-party online orders or on catering orders. Valid at participating Ono locations

The Council of Native Hawaiian Advancement is a member-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting various Native Hawaiian community initiatives and plays a pivotal role in promoting cultural & environmental preservation, educational programs and assisting low-income families. The funds raised from this initiative will further empower the CNHA to continue their essential work, fostering positive change and growth within their communities.

More specifically, Council of Native Hawaiian Advancement: The Kako’o Maui Fund is a donation campaign dedicated to aiding communities affected by the Maui Wildfires. All donations received will go to Maui-based relief efforts for Native Hawaiian organizations, small businesses, ‘ohana and cultural groups. Every donation dollar is matched.
